Tony , there's a few 1/72 Monogram X-15 kits on ebay some you can bid on others are listed as buy it now . You should be able to find one to your liking .

I would like to commemorate the magnificent achievements of this man. If John doesn't mind, I'd also like to build an X-15, if I can get one of course.

I very much like the idea. I will certainly follow along, and if you need an extra person (and the timeline is long enough. July 20, maybe?) then I'm sure I can come up with something.

I would be doing the Revell LEM moon landing diorama kit by the way.
