Nothing here yet.  Hopefully my gift arrived at its destination intact.  If not, it should arrive this upcoming week.

LMAO..  I think you will do a great job whatever it is.  I'm unsure which of the kits you sent my way to do.  The 1701 D is going to be a few month project, the E looks marginally easier.  At least they give you decals for the hardest part of the Azteching, so I may do that first.  And I* think Ihave all the paints I need for the E anyways.

Oh and Congrats on the Job Review.  I bet that's a load off your mind.  I haven't been on as much, those lumps in my arm are making one spot ache.  I am going to try and get in to the Surgeon sooner to get these out.  In the meantime.  They make typing difficult.

My Secret Santa, Bullet21, sent me the Shanghai Dragon M270 MLRS!  Thank you, Dennis.

Only glitch was when I opened it last night, so I could peruse the instructions...they're not in the kit.   I was able to d/l a set from Hobby Search.  Looking forward to building it after the New Year.

Thank you very much to my very generous Secret Santa down there in Ohio!

Not only did I find this awesome kit under that great wrapping job but inside the box was a couple of little extras! A Jordi Rubio aluminum barell and a pack of good ol' No. 11's. How did you know I was down to my last blade?

Here's to wishing you all the best in 2013 Greg. Cheers buddy!

Dennis

ps  sorry to hear about the lack of directions with that MLRS kit, but glad you were able to locate a copy so quickly.

Dom, I'm glad that you like the kit.  A little birdie told me you were looking for a super sabre so I figured that one might do the trick.  Good luck with it.

I am soooo not computer friendly, lol. Good thing I got an awesome kit to work on to help lower my stress level.

Bullet21: to post pics, first go into the "Use rich formatting" then sign into your PhotoBucket account (if you haven't already).  Once you're signed in, to post a pic, put your mouse pointer over the pic, when the menu opens below the pic, put your mouse pointer to the "Direct link" and click the left mouse button - this should copy the link.  After you've done all that, go back the FSM thread and then to post the pic you should click on the   icon. A window will open and you should then click in the window below where it say's "Enter the URL...." and then right click to paste the URL to the pic - then click the "Insert" button and viola!  your pic should be posted

Well, winter was being pretty nice to us here for awhile ... then the wicked witch of the north reared her ugly head. With everything else I have to contend with on a daily basis I haven't been able to get much done at the bench since Xmas. I have one kit to finish, an Isreali M51 with only the lower hull and all the wheels and bogies done, then I can get at this Greyhound. Looking forward to sinking my teeth into that one, just a cool looking AFV all around. Besides, I figured our thread needed a bump.

Unfortunately I still am without a camera, so I can't start any of my build kits until I can afford to replace it.  Which is going to be a while....    So as far as I am concerned, I am removing the time limits. lol

Guys,

sorry I've been so lame, slogging through the F-4P project, and then the BUFF GB.

Good news is that I'm firing up my Badger airbrush again, so that'll help me get going.

Truth is I haven't even opened the factory seal yet on that fab Trumpeter F-100 swingr1121got me......

I'm still waiting for a great Day Off.....Whistling
