Thanks Gamera. I do hope to use more of those decals on future builds, but at my current pace, its gonna be awhile. Perhaps next on a Mig-19, but that means the dreaded Trumpy kitIck!

WOW! She's just gorgeous Nathan!

Would love to see you use the rest of those 19 sets of decals there if they turn out this well!

Nathan she is a REAL beauty!!! Better late than never! I have added her to the roster of completed builds here. I suppose in another year or two we can have another go at this GB. I still have plenty of Latin subjects in my stash.

Ok...so 11 months after starting, finally finished, I present to you Eduard's Mig-21 Bis Castro's Raider using Aztec Decals, Brassin cockpit, wheels, and Exhaust, and a Master Model pitot tube. This kit just rocks! Perfect detail, great fit (even the Brassin parts), and just looks awesome! I did get alittle fed up with the latest weekend boxings because they skimp on the stencils, and a sheet from Eduard is like 20 some bucks!! The kit decals are poor too, but I didn't worry because I had the Aztec sheet. I did have some issues getting them to settle in with Microsol, and almost ruined some with small amounts of Mr. Mark softer. Thanks Stik for putting up with my tardiness!! Hope you enjoy:

I would like to say the Bolt is done, but she's been sidelined by the "Oh crap! Nationals are less than six weeks away and I've got three models for club builds to finish."  It's not like I had a year to finish them.  Back in late July, early August.

Oh, nice colorful stripy jug Lew! Sorry to leave you solo here. The Mig is masked up for a few touch ups, but I haven't had a chance to fire up the airbrush yet. This weekend I hope!

Keep an eye on the Braille Scale GB.  I'm doing a P-26 in Guatemalan markings.

Masking is complete and she'll be painted before I hit the rack for the night. I'd be down for a Starfighter GB as well. Sorry for the lack of pics, I don't have easy access to a computer right now. Will take some after the tape is removed. If all goes well, she should be wrapped up by Monday.

Thank you for the kind words. I have an F-104 that I was building in parallel with my F-20 here. But it got sidelined after I broke off the nose pitot tube and had to order a new part. After I get a couple more current projects done, I will get it finished up. Hopefully next month after my K-200 and B-26.

Its this one:

I could never use up this entire sheet in my lifetime. And anytime there's an F-104 GB, I am game. I'l like to see a Starfighter built up with your skills at some point.

Which sheet is it? I have a couple different 104 sheets myself, including one that has the final ghost gray low vis scheme that the Italian Starfighters wore.

I know that I had bounced around the idea of an F-104 GB a month or two ago... it still sounds tempting in spite of my workload...

Well be here waiting on that Mig Nathan. Sipping on a Cuba Libre and listening to some samba music in the meantime. I like the sound of an Italian Starfighter for your next project...

Very nice work GM! Excellent camo lines. The Neptune has some nice sleek lines to it. The Mig is almost finished. My flying season has started and bench time is few and far between, but all I have left is to finish painting the wheels and dry brush the gear legs, then everything gets a flat coat. I did assemble the metal pitot tube and am still a bit cross eyed. Hopefully tonite I can finish the gear. I'm itching to start an Italian Starfighter and a Hasegawa Phantom after this one.

Hey GM, fantastic job! I love the camo, it's a little different and interesting.

And thanks for the write-up- the whole Falklands Conflict occurred when I was somewhat younger and was kinda a blurr to me at the time.

Manana senor! Thank you very much.

I don't but I will tomorrow.

There's a fair amount of unusual stuff associated with the Neptune.

I'll try to get some close ups.

I look forward to the opportunity to finish the Mirage and the two Skyhawks.

Thank you very much for an enjoyable GB. Nathan I did not have a chance- Fishbed looks muy macho!
