With the hopes of getting this pic thing fixed I started my dragon # 6262 marder 2. Kit. If anybody has any info with directions step 4 involving part A4 and mounting that part I can use the help ?

Well I can see what a lot of builders are talking about when in comes to understanding dragon instructions. Being a experienced modler certainly helps.
Yes, they can be interesting can't they. I don't have experience with the kit your doing, but I certainly know the feeling. It can be hit and miss, I have found many are pretty easy to follow, but there are some in my stash that give me gosh bumps just thinking about them.
This is my first dragon kit that I have started building its nice to see it coming
Together considering how many dragon kits I have.
I'm always building some kits that's more easy trying to better my skills before doing one.
Time to take the plunge. Going to have to try a edward next.

Man I really going to have to kick myself were it counts to get the marder 2 done basically mount gun and walls and paint. I'm pretty sure I can make it as long as I don't get bogged down trying to my all that dragon detail better. Looks like it will stand on its own pretty well.

finally did some painting. was going to paint on thursday but ended up field stripping and cleaning both airbrushes. got vallejo av dark yellow on JAGDTIGER and tracks painted and "weathered". will see if i have the same problems others have with this paint. going to finish doing all the road wheels tonight (steel rims)

I also did a bit on my Jagdpanther -- I got the base colour on the tracks. I'm hoping to shoot the base DY in the next couple of days, possibly also the feldgrau on the commander figure. I'm determined to wrap it up before the due date!

ahhhh lessons learned. sheered off 2 suspension arms on the JAGDTIGER. 1/72 isn't as sturdy as 1/35. drilled out the arms and the hull and superglued with a brass rod. haven't decided on a winter with some white or some red brown. been sitting for a couple of days so we'll see how VALLEJO AIR over enamel primer holds up to silly putty.

no worries. lots going on this time of year. i rely on others to keep up comments on my GBs. got some VALLEJO a/b cleaner since windex goops it up. now we'll see how the paint holds up to silly putty. doing a winter scheme.
want to build a train thingie next year? JIBBER and i are co-hosting a RAILROAD GB.

and this is a big 1/72 especially compared to the 2 BA-6s i just got. will finish it up by end of year since i got some VALLEJO airbrush cleaner.
if you missed it in DY basecoat when i put the winter white camo on it no one will see it here.

Hi all -- well, my Jagdpanther is still alive, today I fitted a last few parts, masked everything that needed masking and got her into DY. Here she is:
I also airbrushed the wheels into tire black. Tomorrow I'll be looking at adding the shade coat on the underside and behind the running gear, and possibly get the wheel hubs into DY.
The problem is that I have only 2 bars pressure in my gas cylinder, and the last bar is always wishful thinking on the gauge anyway, maybe even 1.5, so I'm very nearly dry. I had meant to lay in a fresh fill before the holidays but work got in the way of me using up the last charge. I'm not sure when I can get a fresh fill, and with only a few days remaining before the end of the year I may not be able to get a lot done before the calendar ticks over. Nevertheless, I shall do my best!

here it is in winter camo. the basecoat is VALLEJO AV panzer yellow airbrushed over an enamel primer. it sat for a week and today i put the silly putty and painted. the silly putty didn't want to stick and 1/72 is more delicate to handle than 1/35. i airbrushed it with VALLEJO ivory (NOT AV).that took a lot of thinner and 30psi but, other than right rear fender no run problems. lots of passes but i wasn't concerned if it didn't cover well.
have some touching up to do and decals before final weathering. may try my hand at a small snow base.
Looking good there Wayne, I too have become a big fan of Silly Putty for masking.
Gamera -- you're right there! I've often considered getting a compressor, but a good one may still set me back two years' worth of cylinder exchanges, so it never looks all that attractive from moment to moment. plus the bottle is silent and easy to store...
