The only time you risk a copyright issue is if you use a company logo such as Boeing etc. I'm not sure anyone would come after you anyway.

Although armor isn't really my thing, I have been playing around with my 3D printer lately and had given some thought to maybe trying to 3D print either a WWI era A7V or (captured) Mark IV tank to see how they would come out. As such, I'm kind of partial to the 2nd image,

They all look fine to me, and I agree with Bish- multiple badges don't hurt.

BishFor the German armour GB you want to try and give a choice of badges. It would be all to easy to just use a Tiger tank but that does not really represent the bulk of German armour.
I always offer a selection. It gives the participant a choice for their work. I use to have someone else make mine but he hasn't been around for a while so I go to the internet and add graphics. Sometimes I ask around, there are some exceptional computer graphics forum members.
Same as G, i search on line and pull off pics and then add text and any other images. Some guys make there own from scratch but thats beyond me.

Well, I've pulled some photos off the internet and then added the writing with a graphics program in the past. Recently I've had much more talented people do mine. You might want to ask around.
I am hosting my first GB and am wondering where to find pictures to make the badges. Do you get them of a website or take them yourselves?
