Let me check the stash. I'm not sure what scale or subject to do. I might have to assign every kit a number and roll the D and D dice to decide. Leaning toward the 1/48th Skybow Late Tiger.

What are the ground rules? Same as the other group builds? Do we need to start fresh or can work be lightly (less than 25%) started? Just curious. This is only my second group build but have been watching from the sidelines. My first was this year's Weekend Madness.

Those are super cool looking GB badges! Will an 8 rad car qualify? Just got this from the Dragon sale and it's a beauty.

Daddyman - Yes a kit that is 25%-30% built is fine. Also, nice work on the Hurricane it came out nicely even with the painting trouble.

I was planning on revisiting the Tamiya SdKfz 7/1 8-ton halftrack w/ flakvierling on New Year’s Eve (a tradition started by a friend).  The model was one of my earliest Tamiya builds, and I have fond memories of it, even though I just sloshed white paint on the bare plastic to get the winter whitewash effect.

I have secured a fresh kit, and although I wanted to do a nostalgia build, I have succumbed to AMS and have aftermarket tracks, gun barrels, and PE.  I know there are other more modern kits of the subject, but I really wanted to have that “Tamiya feeling” again.

So please put me down for a Tamiya 1/35 SdKfz 7/1.

LOL!  Another one of my Estate sale finds.  Zimm??  Never done it before...why not, no time like the present huh?  Uhhhhh, I may be coming to you for advice on the Zimm. LOL!

Think I will start with the Mongram PzkwIV. I have a 1/32 crew commander in mind for this kit.

If I don't get sidetracked, I wll attempt to complete the Tamiya 1/16th Leopard A4. It's one of the oldest kits in my stash going back to when I picked it up around 1988 when stationed at MCAS Futenma

And if I have any time remaiing, I will try and take on the Meng King Tiger and it's Interior Set   Just looking at the interior set looks daunting.

It looks huge. The 1/144 is as big as two 1/35 panzer's on it's own. HLJ has it for $85+ shipping... I just might have to grab it once I see how I'm sitting after the Christmas season.
