Will have to see what's going on after the first of the year, might make the jump with the old 1/72 Revell Skycrane, only painted as one of Erickson's in international orange. Would have to try and find decals for one

I'm checking with Lone Star to see if his conversion set with decals is available yet.  His site isn't up and running yet, but I have a kit number from scalemates.

Gary and Mach1, good to have you. I got you both down.
Gary, good call! It's been a very long time since I've seen that one.

Mach1, I love Hasegawa 1/72 16's They go together soooo well. My favorite 1/72 kits. I do wish they would have finished the intake trunking though.

Awesome Piers, Willey Post's high altitude plane. You're a braver man than I building a vac kit. I got you down.

I've used a couple of the decals sheets, including one for my RAF ventura. They are nice decals, look forward to seeing yours.

I'd love to join in if I can, if this counts. I've been designing a kit of the Crew Exploration Vehicle version of LM's Orion spacecraft in 1/144 scale. It's this version:

And here's my model:

I even made a stand for it!

(The antenna is stowed here, but the model will use the deployed one of course.)

So am I in?

Count me in.  I've got a 1/72 scale ESCI/ERTL kit of the F-16 that's been in my stash for many years; time to get it off the shelf and on the workbench.

Steve,

Pardon me for asking, but curiosity has got the better of me.  How does a F-105 fit into the Martin-Lockheed GB?  Is there a connection I'm not aware of?  Last I heard, Republic (Seversky) was acquired by Fairchild.  (Take a look at your listing.)

Ah! That makes more sense!  I was really curious about whether the avionics or some systems were made by Lockheed-Martin.

BTW, I have an Academy 1/72 F-104G that I'll enter.  I have the Caracal NASA decals that I'll be using for it.  They are for a Revell / Hasegawa kit, but I guess they'll work just as well for Academy.
