Hi Sarge. I've made a little bit of progress on the B-2. Cockpit assembly is complete and glued into the fuselage. I've also dry fit the wing sections together and added some extra alignment tabs to aid in getting a good solid joint.

Oh man this would have been a great GB for me. Alas my travel permits me to do little modelling. Maybe next year.

Sarge
Are you inviting me to to this build from another build. If so this is the only kit that I have and are you going to allow cross-building. If so count me in.

Im working on a Testors P-51D right now, and it seems that testors has a knack for making farily simple kits.

Talk about horrible fit and most of it is due to bad enginneering. I recently bought this kit for the second time(!) and since they first released it, the fit of the wing panels has been tweaked so they fit better. However, there is still a huge gap all the way around on the leading and trailing edges. Once all the filling and sanding is done, the rest is a piece of cake. When all is said and done, you'll have a very pleasing model of the B-2.

Yeah, I was looking at mine and the gaps are enormous. It's going to take some effort to make this look halfway decent. Even the wheel well detail is non-existant. The hardest thing to deal with is probably the panel lines. The kit has raised panel lines, and the real thing doesn't really have any! I used to work on them and I'm trying to recall from memory some detail for the W/W's that I can add. Wasn't allowed to take pic's back then.Alien [alien]

Yep, that's the one, but remember, RC is NOT scale modeling, at least not in the my class, you might call it semi scale modeling Smile [:)]
The beauty of it is ; that I will be building it from plans that came for free in some french RC magazine.
Since you immediately welcomed RC'ers in your initial post, I wander if you do RC yourself ? This is actually the first time I see someone welcoming an RC project in a GB here.
