You're right there JB when I opened this thread and looked at the photos of the guys here I was amazed at the ages of the guys because I've seen some of their work and it's fantastic.
That's not an insult everyone, it's a compliment. I wish had had half skills that you guys have when I was your age.

Darren, I know what you feel with the old thing. I thought I was a young one then these 'kids' post their mugs and I'm thinking: 'holy crap is there a lot of young kids on this sight that make some excellent models'. I bet there is at least 10 to 15 years between me and these guys (except joerugby). But really who cares what your age is, we're all here for one reason anyway right!

I just read your post Dan and nearly fell off my seat busting a gut with laughter.

Given that Pix is one of the most prominent and busy modelers I know and the fact it's his web page in the first place I reckon there's a small chance he's going to notice Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]

Jürgen this is a great idea given that some of us spend waaaay to much time on this site and the fact that we are spread all over he globe it's nice to put faces to names. It's just that I feel so darned old looking at the pics you guys have posted.

If I can scrape up a decent shot I'll be back and post it.

Cheers

Dan - I recognised it because it is a picture I took of my camera for my website.

I build about thirty 1/48 kits a year. I don't think I need to build more.

I am not the guy in my signature...thats Kees Meuws, formerly of the All Blacks and Auckland Blues now with Northampton Saints in England...I am the guy pulling the "Forrest Gump" with my eyes closed in the photo...I was fairly knackered at the end of that match...I will get a better photo together tonight...

Here's mine, I'm holding a Typhoon mk 1B. I actually got the opportunity to talk to the pilot of the Typhoon I built! It was quite thrilling to talk to him about his time in WW2.

hahaha, that's pretty hilarious comrade sergei.

When I was trying to build that scud carrier a while back, (7 years), I had some major fit problems. sux that it was one of the earlier pieces from DML. Maybe one day they will re-release with some new tooling.
