I'm liking what I'm seeing Boyd.  The silly putty approach worked really well for the camo.  Good progress. Thumbs Up [tup]

Alrighty then, here we go:

Here she is, about a month and a half ago, heading in for paint - this was my first attempt at using the silly putty method and I gotta say, I'm a fan...

And after the silly putty was removed - there were a few flub ups to fix, but by and large, I am pretty satisfied...

And a couple of shots with the spinner in place.  Since these were taken, she has had a coat of future, applied some decals, and put all the fiddly bits on (canopy, MG, rockets, bombs, wheels) and I have started to weather her a little bit.  I think I am leaning towards Arki's approach and will keep the weathering to a minimum.

By way of reference, here is the bird that she is 'inspired' by...

Should have her done in no time (yeah, where have I heard that before) and will hope to get pics up quickly!!

As always, comments and critiques are welcome.

M'Lord Kenny,

Your humble servant would like, if it pleases your court, now that I have un-@$$#$ my personal life enough and re-aquired access to my digital camera, to post photos of my build.  Sire, this poor, pathetic sole (heh heh) knows that he is WAY, WAY, WAY behind the power curveWhistling [:-^], but nonetheless hopes that these will meet your viewing pleasure.  I do it only to glorify you, highness...

P.S.  Nice freakin' job on the Big E...

Very nice work Kenny.  Worth every minute! You know after building that big boat and then going right into your railgun.  You are ging to be hooked on the BIG.  I mean after this you are going to open up a 1/72nd aircraft kit and say "is this it?  What is there like 14 parts here?"  Big Smile [:D]

glad you guys didnt mind the extra time on the build :)

Wow. Bow [bow]

Gorgeous, fantastic and a whole slew of other adjectives.  Bravo, Kenny, you can be proud of this one.  And I know I certainly didn't mind the wait.

Is your wife happy to see this done?!  Is she unhappy to see the railgun is coming up?! Big Smile [:D]

Speaking of railgun....get on it! Mischief [:-,]
