In that case, congratulations on your new 1:1! Sorry to hear about the colic, but I understand it generally passes in pretty short order, and the baby will be more comfortable.

Whenever you do get back to the Support GB idea, be sure to post it in the Armor forum (or shoot me a PM). It's a solid idea.

Intriguing concept. But you could still see halftracks, trucks and light armor in support roles. In German WWII stuff, for example, you'd see Panzer Is and IIs in support functions during a particular timeframe.

But if I read you correctly, this would be more of a figure / diorama kind of build? I wouldn't be able to get started on it any time soon, but it would be cool to do a dio of the scene in Saving Private Ryan (or one like it), in which we see a big office filled with rows of civilian women, steadily punching on old typrewriters, with stacks of paper all around them, and a smaller office up front with 4 or 5 older or disabled Army officers discussing whatever.

Something like that.

What would the badge look like?

You're right...so maybe I should narrow it down a bit?  Perhaps we could limit it to flight deck only...or medical stuff only.

If I get more responses I might have to make this GB official.  However, I'd like to see some more ideas on what people want to build so I can make the decision on how best to do it.

Reminds me of the movie 12 O'clock High, when the ground personnel were playing baseball, or standing by thier jeeps / ambulances, but always had an eye on the sky looking for the returning bombers.
