A definite must for any historian or tank enthusiast!
What a great time to be a modeller knowing most 'theme' events will reflect the 100 years sense the great war. Surly a Whippet is to follow along with figures and artillery.
I'm not so excited about this one. It looks more or less the same as MK.V from Interus but probably costs a lot more.

ww2psycho I'm not a World War 1 person as you can tell by my name. I'm wondering, what is the difference between the "male" and "female" tank?

Female=machine guns only, i.e. no big guns
OK...to pile on, for those who need AM for kits, Fruile has announce 4 or 5 new track sets for WWI kits including tracks for these. Enjoy!

"The Moral High Ground....A Great Place to Emplace Artillery."
That is the basic distinction, one has cannon, and one does not. Although I do not recall which is which. And IIRC, there was also the "hermaphrodite" version which had cannon & MGs.
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...

Bish I think the male only has MG's and the female has cannon. But I am not 100% sure.

I've been wanting to build one of these, but all I have is the Emhar "Female" and with all its reported issues, I wasn't too pumped up to give it a go! Now I'm stoked!!

Last Aircraft Builds - Hobby Boss 1/72 F4F Wildcat & FW-190A8
There is just too much good stuff coming out lately Karl... Even though these are not my cup of tea, I am quite happy to see these WWI tanks being kitted finally. They are so important to the history of armor!
No lie, Carlos---it's hard to keep up on all the new things coming out! I've still got to get the French St Chamond!
I'll be building one of the MkIV's for sure---male and female both! I can't wait!
I may have to do one. Just thinking of all those rivets gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.....
Apprentice rivet counter.
tigermanThat indeed fills a gap long wished for by modelers. I've always liked the Whippet myself. Probably will pass on them, but I look forward to all the new dio possibilities this presents.
