The tarps were very easy. Tissue paper, watered down white glue, let dry, paint, add pastel chalk to taste.

Yes, I gotta agree about the tarps... very well done on those! No worries about the base here. That is something to apply to your next project. I like to look on each build as a learning experience for the next one.

Overall I like it. Is this a 1st Gulf War Abrams? I might suggest some stain and/or varnish on the bare wood of the stand to dress that up a little bit.
