King Tiger Tracks, a little help please!
Posted by MKelley on Sunday, July 26, 2015 8:02 AM

I am working on a Dragon King Tiger, it has individual track links. They are driving me !@#$%^ crazy. Does anyone have a set of rubber band style tracks they would be willing to part with. I am looking for the wide versions not the transport tracks. I know it is asking a lot but, this thing is going well with the exception of the tracks. Thanks in advance.

You need to be a bit more specific about the tracks. ie. single-link or double-link. The sprocket will have either 9 teeth (double-link) or 18 teeth (single-link)

The kit come with both sprockets, so either one would work.

You'd be a better modeler to learn how to do indy tracks. Honestly, they are not that hard. Here's a link to a tutorial I did on the method. The KT ones, in fact, are some of the easiest to do, just tedious. Clink below:..

I have almost completed both sides, they are just driving me crazy. Most likely I will finish them.

Karl,

Your tutorial couldn't have come at a better time.  I am working on my first armor kit and had no clue as how to install the tracks.

Thanks for the lesson.

Doog, actually the tutorial is what gave me the confidence to try the individual link tracks.
