1/35 CyberHobby T-34/85 w/Tank Riders
Posted by udel09 on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 7:41 PM

Just completed CyberHobby rerelease of Dragon's T-34/85 Mod 1944.  Kit was built OOB w/ the addition of an aftermarket metal barrel and tank riders.  The model was painted w/ AK interactives 4BO modulation kit and a vaiety of Mig washes and pigments.  This was my first real attempt at figures.  Commets and critiques welcome!Beer

That came out really nicely! I can't say that I see much actual "modulation" in the paint, but the finish really is nice. Then again, I tend to use heavy modulation so...

But seriously, nciely done, and the figures realy add a nice aspect to the build. Yes

I see your modulation! Its light and looks pretty natural, more to my kind of style. For your first set of figures I have to say you're way ahead of the average beginner. Obviously you have a good set of skills to work from already.

Keep that stuff up.  YesYesYes

She looks really good to me, both the T-34 and the figures. Kudos sir!

Wow, great job! I have the old Tamiya T-34/85 in my queue (a little more suited to my limited skill level!) and hope to grab the Dragon kit at some point.  Thanks for sharing!Yes

Nice looking build. I am not a fan of modulation myself, so the lighter touch looks good to me. Nice work on the figures as well.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Thanks for the comments everyone.  This was my first Russian build and I will hopefully be adding some more to the stash in the future.
