1/72 Trumpeter armor kits

Never built that scale, but I doubt you could wrong for that price.

Yes, I've built two now and liked them immensly. One caution, the "gluable" tracks, aren't. 

oh hell yes. my T-55 mine roller i did in syrian colors took a first at a regional in 1/72  post Korea armor. i have built a number of them (LAV, BTR-80 JGSDF TYPE 61) and have a CHAALENGER and a JGSDF TYPE 74 and 90 in the OTS stash.

i glued my tracks together with little problem. i glued them off the vehicle and clamped them for 24 hours then painted them. all the running gear EXCEOT the compensating ideler were on the vehicle. i slipped he tack around the sprocket and road wheels, slipped the idler into the other end and streeeeetched it to the axle. 

what do they have left?

Wayne.  They still have Stug IVs , Tiger early and late versions, Elephants, Brumbar, Challenger IIs, KY 1s, T-34 76 and 85s, Chinese something or other. Unfortunately they don't have anything American. There is also a 1/35 Whirlwind and some French light tank with what looks like rockets along the sides. All for half price. A slathering of aircraft as well, and some 1/700 modern ships, mostly Soviet and Ukrainian. 

I just bought a Trumpeter 1/72 King Tiger with Zimmerit.  While reasonably passable, the zimmerit was a little lame, even when considering the scale.  Also, I thought the tracks looked under detailed, with no inside detail whatsoever.

I forgot, they have some of those as well.

Good deal, but I had the same problem with the "ungluable" tracks. They just wouldn't stick together with anything I tried. I had to use 5-minute epoxy, which was an awful mess. What a disappointment, because otherwise the kits are fine for 1/72 scale.
