Those decals go all the way back to matchbox, which had a winter scheme on the box.

That makes since. I dug out some stars from a Hasegawa M4A3 E8 I have. That still leaves the E8 kit with some Japanese markings that I can use for next years Japanese build.

This is the Revell kit with the Hase stars I just completed for this year's Weekend Madness GB.

Am I wrong in remembering a French scheme that went with those partially painted over stars? I only know I've always hated them.

Well it's the third reissue of a Matchbox/ Monogram/ Revell kit, and an oldie.

Those decals go all the way back to matchbox, which had a winter scheme on the box.

So maybe the answer is there.

The instructions show a solid OD. Most pictures I've seen of US Sherman's are all OD, except for the occasional winter camo.

Did this Sherman have the single OD scheme or did it have a 2 colour scheme.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

I'm building a Revell 1/72 M4A1 (76) W ant the kit comes with these decals.

Can anyone tell me what the deal is with these green stars with the squiggly camo through them? Have you seen this before?
I found some standard white 1/72 scale stars I used instead, but was just curious.
