roll cage glued up and painted grey.

Body is painted. the paint came out fairly smooth from the airbrush, it still needs to be polished out. I don't plan on using any clear coats on it.

some body work, for the grill i dremeled out a bit from the bottom part then used some stretched sprue to clean up the edges. Not to worried if its perfect looking because the grill decal will give the exact look after.

I also thinned down all the edges of the body (wheel openings, side skirts, the intake on the cowl and the spoiler) . i just sprayed on some flat blue to check for any sanding marks and stuff and to get "blue color" in the panel lines

WOW, James!

"Lack of detail" on the driver?!

Not when you get done with him! Sheesh! That looks outstanding!

How much of those are decals and how much of it did you paint on?

starting on this one, using an 2003 revell chevy with JWTBM decals.to make this Pontiac of Jerry Nadeau

thought I'd include the driver in my next nascar .
I replaced the kit helmet with a lego one.  I thinned the visor and just blacked it out since theres no face detail there
not to worried about the lack of detail on him in the car not much is visible
