Hi,
I'm about to start building an old Revell 57 Nomad (circa 1988). I looked all over for a model that had opening doors, hood, tailgate and back window and finally found one.
I'd like to do a good job on it and possibly do some after market add-ons to detail it even more. But I'm new to the auto side of modeling; is there a company that does detail kits for cars? Truthfully the chrome bumpers aren't very good. It's fine for most of the finish, but pebbly on the right sides. I'm also interested in better ways of attaching the doors, hood, tailgate and back window, like scale hinges instead of the bulky funky looking doodads Revell came up with.
Any ideas? Any tips or tricks for making this an outstanding model would be really welcome.
Thanks in advance!
Bill
