CN Spots, ModelCrazy, Spru-ceGoose, sorry it took so long to get back to you. To  answer, because I only use rattlecan (for personal reasons), I found that the primer sticks to the plastic much better than the top coat does to the primer. So, after layering the orange top coat on the dark grey primer, I use an X-Acto knife to induce the chipping through scrapping of the dried orange top coat, revealing the primer, but the primer stays un-chipped. Then, in certain areas, I use good 'ole Testors enamel silver in a bottle to paint within the primer chips, the look of bare metal. That's it, guys!

I heard their mechanic was incompetent - he couldn't tune a turret truck, but he could tuna fish.    Badum bum!

It looks good even if it's a bit fishy.

You know somebody was going to post that.

This fish tale didn't include the fish tails. Probably the best weathering and wear job I've ever seen, on any project. Completely realistic. Thanks for posting this, I really enjoyed seeing it.

2-13-15. Finally finished this, adding a simple asphalt-modeled base showing  the truck negotiating inside a warehouse. Wanted the driver to appear intent on his work (hence the pupils of his eyes looking towards the right), but contrast that with the ground stains of unknown origin, and a possible ominous end in the direction of the fish bone. The third tuna escapes (?)

Very nicely dirtied boots on that driver.

Gotta tell him he dropped a fish, though.Whistling

18/18/14 Completed the painting of the included figure, even though figures have been difficult for me, and usually I look for any excuse to forego painting them. But in this case, a turret truck with tuna but without a driver would be out of place. So here are pictures of the driver, taken with my cell phone.

You can tune a piano but you can't tuna fish.

very unusual subject matter. one forgets that tuna are a large fish, since they come in such small tins.

Nice, similar to something I use at work every day called a pack mule.
