I have started my ICM 1911 T (touring car version). It is a beautiful kit, worth the money as far as I am concerned. The detail is great, very little flash and few sink marks. Fit is generally good except for a few areas. The body has a lot of pieces! The two body sides are held together by three bulkheads and the rear apron. There are holes in body for pegs on end of bulkheads, and the pegs are longer than the holes are deep. Since the body sides are thin, drilling the holes deeper is dangerous. I used a needle file to shorten the pegs about 15 or 20 mil.
The brass plating is not as bad as I had feared from early reviews, but the radiator shell does have a prominent seam, and some of the plated parts are in two halves that leave a seam when glued together. I will be Alclading (with brass alclad) the radiator shell, the headlights and the Prestolight generator.
Nothing worth pictures yet, but will post some when I get that far along.
