Thanks for that, although my knowledge of trucks is not any more than any normal person. I just make sure to look at lots and lots of reference pics. :) I pass by trucks many times and sometimes stop to look at some and take pics.

Man that looks good! That's some hard work that paid off right there.

Thanks. Took some time but it was worth it. Sorry for the pics. Themodel looks much better in real life. Not the best photographer.

I'll say it again as it bares repeating, the king of weathering strikes again, I honestly wish I had half your skills, whenever I look at your art its always with a tinge of jealousy (sorry but there it is) I also learn a lot, I analyse how I think you've done something and try to emulate it, I'm still missing something but I do feel I'm getting there.

As the others have said, this is a most impressive work of model building.

Your eye for detail and how various surfaces weather, get grime, have worn out spots is peerless.       Cheers

  I shall now go back to my bench and overspray my currant attempt with plaster of paris and take the resulting lump out to the garden for a lawn ornament. But I will get on with my next project, weaving yarn from my clothes drying machine lint- it will keep me calm

Thank you. Yes. A little tiresome but enjoyable none the less.

Wickedly COOL!! The only thing I would recommend would be to weather a few of the tires to make it look like some of them spent time in the elements for a while, or got covered up in sand, mud wash, etc. It would add some visual interest in that huge bed of same-tires.

Another fantastic effort, Tiking. The replaced tire rim on the truck, the Michelin Man mascot, the abused paint and abused container, the weathering and general wear and tear appearance- all just fantastic!

  Well Sir ' I would have to say spot on ! Except for the tractor make ( we don't see them around here ) it is an exceptional build .I like your weathering and just one point I would like to make .Can you age the tires some ?    T.B.      I mention them because they are one of the first things you see .

I take it you are referring to the scrap tyres? I know they need more aging and weathering. I will work on them later. They do take some time. I did 20 but unfortunately they are somewhere at the bottom of that pile. I tried to keep them on the top but it was harder.

   I have that same problem with barge and cargo ship loads . It is tedious , But as I said . Spot On !  T.B.

Utterly fantastic build!  I wish I could make models look THAT realistic.
Great pics, too.
The ONLY gripe is......the tires in the trailer look too.....new.  Chucking them onto a mandrel on a drill and sanding them down would have made them look used and worn out.
BUT.....other than my useless comment.....that's one HECK of an awesome build.
