Sorry for not responding sooner.  If you're going to display the model with the hood off or open, I would go ahead and wire it up (unless you're entering a box stock category).  Model Car Garage makes some excellent photoetch wire looms that would work perfectly and help keep everything neat and tidy. They also make photoetch linkages and machined aluminum AN fittings, and braided stainless steel line should you decide to go all in and detail the heck out of the engine. As for installing the wires, just drill holes in between the manifold tubes and you'll be fine.  However, since you said you'd decided not to wire it up, just file this away for future reference. As a contest judge, if this is going to contest, make sure all the ejector pin marks sanded off or filled, especially if the hood is displayed open or off the car. I've bounced many good builds in the first round of judging for failure to do this basic step.  I look forward to your build.

Decided against doing the plug wiring On the engine with the blower and stuff it makes it really difficult.

It's the 427 I am doing. I did it red instead of orange. Should I try and drill small holes between the exhaust manifold and run the to the distributor?

Dean,

There's not a lot of room on the real car either. Are you doing this as a L-88 or a lesser 427?  The reason I ask is that there are noticeable differences between the them. Most notably on the L-88 there was no distributor or spark plug wire shielding as the L-88 was a radio delete car. If you're building the L-88, the spark plug wires should be brown.  If you're building a lesser 427 (lesser meaning less hp), there would be a chrome plated box around the distrubutor and ignition coil. The spark plug wires would have a braided metal sheath around them.  This was to prevent interference from the ignition bleeding over to the radio.  The engine block should be Chevy Orange and the transmission was simply cast aluminum. I don't remember if the kit has a radio and speakers or not.  If you're building the L-88, you'll have to fashion a radio delete plate and remove the antenna.  If you're not, the cowl induction system will have to be deleted, and a different intake, carb and air cleaner set up used.  I look forward to your build.

Okay so I put on the exhaust manifolds and there is very little space to put the plug wiring in between them gonna be difficult.

Firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 on the distributor. in a clockwise fashion with the #1 cylinder being at the drivers front cylinder there Dean.

I am tring to get the spark plug order and firing order on the distributor cap so I can do the wires onthe model I have anyone have an idea.
