I definitely agree here , Don . I have NEVER put a deck on after doing any detailing . In any size !

I built my 1/350 Missouri using the Artwox blue deck. I added it before the superstructure and have had no difficulties with lifting or warping at all.  It fit well and the adhesive backing is effective. I recommend them.

I agree with Don, put the deck on before adding the superstructure and all the deck pieces.  

I used a Pontos deck on my Olympia, and put it on after finishing the hull, but before putting on any superstructure or PE. I built up the superstructure as subassemblies, added each subassembly when complete, added main deck PE last.  PE on superstructure went on as last step in each superstructure.

I agree with the above. I've never worked with AM decks, but it would seem to me that you just have to "feel it out". Ships are an interesting breed when it comes to building them. Sometimes it makes sense to do a thing first on one kit and something else first on another. Having built the Tamiya Missouri, I would think installing the deck right after painting the hull and before installation of anything else would make sense , although I would think you would need to pre fit it first. I know...duh... right?

In the couple of builds I've done with Pontos decks I've installed them after painting the hull and adding the decks but before the smaller pieces like P/E parts. It's simply too difficult to fit the decks while working around small parts. Larger pieces can be done first. Start building and think it thru and you'll be fine.

No experience with that deck on that model, but...

You know the drill. You just need to figure out what makes the most use of your skills. In general I would put the deck down last.

Funny thing, my ships usually go back-and-forth, back-and -forth. They take forever, but it's all in the execution, right?

In other words, I doubt it much matters- there's no certain Fubar.
