1/200 Trumpeter Bismarck in the works

The plastic parts aren't that small actually.  The 200 scale parts are easier to handle.  There won't be any camo paint on my Bismarck.  A lot of plastic parts are replaced by PE parts.  Maybe the Carriers are the ones with the camo on them.

Youre brave. How tiny are the plastic parts? The camo paint needed on the overhanging  and recessed decks on these large ships totally scares me off. 

OH YEAH!!  Not only a ship but a bigin. My buddy in our IPMS club received the 1/200 Rodney and another has the 1/200 Yamato but none of us has the 1/200 der Bismarck.

If it was $200, then that was a steal.  Mine was $264 and I thought that was a good price.  It's a massive model but very impressive.  The model comes with 13 sheets of photo etch and a free main gun that's clear and see through turret and metal guns.  I think I figured out how to post pictures so I will do that pretty soon.

I recently saw this kit at Valleycon,Chicopee,Ma. for what I thought was a steal (<200.00) and almost screwed myself up to bring it home.Couldn't pull the trigger but anxious to see you knock it out.
