Alot of thiings I am......but a ship modeler I am not. BUT.....I can definitely say without a doubt that I can certainly admire and appreciate the amount of work that goes into building one. Fantastic work on an iconic ship.

Thanks for your kind comments Gene much appreciated. I have about 20 1-350 Kits in my collection so Retirement looks pretty busy when the time comes. YOu could use the Trumpeter Alabama in 1-350 and convert her if you have enough references. Would like to see that come to fruition.....Cheers mark
Mark, I will repeat, that Bismark is really beautiful & flawless work. What other WW2 1/350 ships do you have? I always wanted to build an Indiana BB58 for my brother as he spent 3 years on her in WW2. I got all my model info first hand from the people that were there back years ago. They are all gone now.
I had friends from all branchs of service, even a CO who was a top ace in WW2 P 51's.
Thanks everyone for your comments Much appreciated......Cheers mark
Boy that looks great! Makes me look forward to opening mine up and getting started.
In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!
Great job Mark. You made a fun build out of this one. I look forward to following you along on the Akagi.

gene1 Realy a beautiful build & super detailed even to the lifeboats. Makes me want to do another one. Those tamiya kits never get old.

Tanker - Builder Oh Fiddlesticks ! Now I will have to put another ship next to that ! If I put my Bismark next to her they'll get confused as to who get the best of Class and Best Of Show - Ships ! Absolutely beautiful, and a great example of a clean build ! T.B.
