I have used CA debonder when I made mistakes gluing on a piece before I should have. The stuff works fine. I have not actually used it as a temporary glue, but I don't see why CA and debonder wouldn't work as a temporary glue.

I normally use a small amount of Maskol whenever i need temporary adhesion. Once it's set, it holds fairly well.
I've used it to hold things like tools etc in place whilst sparying armour, then just pull off and scrape it away.

There is Formula 560 canopy glue.It is a sort of white glue with a better bond that can be pulled apart easily.
I sometimes use a small bit of blue tack (poster tack) to temporarily hold parts together. I use it a lot for things like holding gear doors in while painting (I only permanently glue gear itself in place after all painting is done. The blue tack keeps the paint out of the gear wells while I paint, yet lets me paint gear doors bottom color.
Hi!
I thought Micro Inustries made a temporary adhesive not long ago. They make micro sol. I checked but they dont make it now. You could use white glue like elmers. It could be made temporary and just peel the residue away or use water.
