It depends on the AB. General rule of thumb:

15-20 psi for gravity feed AB.

25-30 psi for siphon feed AB.

Try it on a piece of paper with various pressure until you get a fine even misty coat. Don't use heavy coat, it runs.

For smaller parts such as canopy, dipping is perferred.

25% Alcohol and 75% Future works for me. I used to paint mine on like you do. The airbrush is faster, but it is easy to get runs.

Do you spray the Future straight, or do you thin it with something?  I haven't used my AB for future, as I've only "painted" it on with brushes.
