Interesting, I'd seen mods to paint your tank with 'My Little Pony' decals etc  but not these. I might have to give some of them a try, I keep trying to hit heavies in their vulnerable areas but I'm not very good at it. 

I don' t think anyone is hacking the game but there are a lot of people out there way better than me, maybe they should open a server just for people like me that suck at FPSers. And there may be people with various installed equipment and camo that gives them an advantage, I don't blame them, you should get more if you pay for the game. My issue is that I used to run about a 50-60% win rate, here lately I've dropped down to about 20% or so. Could be my M18 is in a higher tier than my M10 and I'm facing better opponents- frankly I dunno...

Hey : ]    I have been following along for a while hoping someone would bring it up,  yet have not. For all of those claiming ninja snipers...if its not your ping then your most likely right....  What I am talking about are mods.    There are a great number of them,  most can be had from the curse client.  Including magnifing sniper mode...You can be seen from across the map....  Is it cheating...probly.  I see it this way.  They have it.  Does it ruin the game.  Definitly.  

oh and google the hit skin mod.  it removes any artwork on the tanks and replaces them with ..well look

Hitbox skins, zoom-out/in mods, freefly camera mods, tracer mods, agent orange mods, bots... in other words, lots of ways to annoy people in this game! I do not believe there an any actual "hacks" in this game though. I've been on the WoT forums for quite a while now, and every week or so someone will complain about being killed by a "hacker". Truth is, most of the time they've either just got ammo-racked, or been hit by two tanks at once

Some of the low tier Brit tanks have an anti aircraft pom pom that can shoot 4 times in rapid succession.  One of those may have hit you.

Possably, i can't remeber what it was now. Will have to make a note next time.

I know it wasn`t an AA gun killing my Tiger, which is a tier VII...unless a higher tier light tank has some sort of auto-cannon...still shouldn`t have been killed in 2 shots at 100% armor. Those lower tier 37mm cannons plink off of most higher tier armor.

The only thing I can think of that can kill a Tiger in 2 hits would be arty. That or you ran into a high-tier Russian TD...

Heres another one i don't get. The otehr day i was hideing behind a building and got taken out by a round which went straight through said building. And just now i was on the Abbey map. I was in the square with buildings all around and got hit from behind. So i turned the turret and there was no one there. A second round took me out. I am sure some people are able to fire through buildings. Anyone else had this happen.

The closest i encountered to that was an invisible hacker, appeared today on the opposing team, and proceeded to shoot everyone on my team, whilst we could not see him... rawr!

exactly...invisitanks. One answer is the enemy player purchased the binocs and coated optics....can see way far away with that combo...was up against a French LT that had us spotted across the map and their arty lit us up. They could also have cammo nets and paint, which adds to their stealth. I have nets on 2 vehicles, don`t seem to help much tho`...lol.

I swore I was taken out from behind buildings before, but if one part of your tank is stickin` out from behind cover a sniper will pick you off.

I once saw a situation once where there was just a French scout and an ISU-152 left on our team. The ISU parked up behind a bush, sent the scout off to spot targets, and killed the 3 remaining heavies on the enemy team, without being spotted once! Those Russian TD's are damned stealthy

Thaks Alex. Seems odd that you can do that sort of damage and it not reflect in the vehicles health. I sort of understood it with the Hetzer, and ye it did have the gun gun. But i am sure its happened with other vehicles. I must say i have taken out a vehicle that was 100% with one round from a wespe. Was rather pleased with that.

I have noticed the same issues as you guys. A couple of time i got penetrations but it didn't seem to reduce the damage. And also a couple of times i have been taken out with one shot and having 100% health. I know on one occasion it was a Hetzer took me out, and i was in a Pz IIIA. But still i would have thought it would have taken more than one hit. Then yesterday i was hit twice in quick succession by the same tank. And it wasn't one with a cannon like the Pz II has. Theres deffinatly something going on.

The 0 damage penetrating hits do damage in a way; they knock out modules or kill crew members (e.g. kill  the driver, damage the gun ect.), although this damage isn't reflected in the tanks overall HP. And yeah, the Hetzer with the howitzer is pretty devastating, if it penetrates it can kill anything in it's tier or lower with a single shot. I'm also having some problems with my ISP just cutting out every now and then so I probably won't be on for a week or so. Bummer, I was hoping to earn enough XP to get my Hellcat a 90mm gun. Oh well...

Well, yesterday I bought (finally!) a Jagdpanzer IV. I'm kinda disappointed with it... it has sloped armor, but everything can pen it... grrr... I need the upgraded suspension (which costs 4,100 XP) to mount anything better, so im essentially stuck with a stock vehicle. Right now im grinding out credits on my StuG III, so i can get better crew training and modules for the Jagdpanzer... so I dont have to grind it as much.

Going to take a long time before i get a Jagdpanther II...

The JagdPanzer IV is the turd of the German TD line I'm afraid. Even with the top gun, you'll find it hard to penetrate anything from the front  in your tier or higher. The rest of the line is great though, after the Jagdpanzer you get the fantastic Jagdpanther, then either the Ferdinand or Jagdpanther II. I brought the Ferdi today (was hoping it would be on sale, but wasn't ), and even in it's stock setup it's pretty good.

Good to see you guys having fun, last couple times I've played I've gotten so honked off I had to quit it to keep my blood pressure down...

Other night I whacked a light tank with my 76mm, the gunner yelled 'Penetration' but it didn't do any damage whatsoever at all. Then ended up getting hit and instant killed by one enemy shot, I know a Hellcat didn't have a great deal of armour but geeze louise. Plus I think they've changed the maps around, I used to find a good spot and snipe, now it seems I can hardly do that anymore, and an American TD can't go head to head in a slugging match.

Maybe I'll be back in a couple of weeks...  

...then there`s the Match Maker...I must`ve pizzed that thing off because I never enter a battle, with any of my tanks, as the highest tier tank. I`d say outta 10 battles , I`d come in at the middle or lower 8 battles. I`ve been losing more credits than earning. Now that I bought my Tiger, and burned up all my credits in doing so, I`m back to the grind. I mostly play from 7-9 pm , just to get my bonus XP. I`m with Cliff...getting ready to take a "leave of absence"..lol.

I see the Beta test thing, it says closed so i assume you had to be invited or something. I am in no rush and will wait until its release. Still getting to grips with WoT.

I saw the world of ships as well. But not sure about that one.

I got access to the Alpha build of World of Warplanes a few months ago. It seemed good enough, but my laptop wasn't capable of running it at a smooth FPS so I passed on it. I believe it is in Beta testing now, you can sign up for that if you want to try it out.

The also have World of Warships or battleships...   I got banned for thinking out loud so I kinda veered away.  The ban has been lifted but I like to sniff glue.

I was looking through the WoT site today and noticed they have a World of Warplanes in development. Couldn't find a release date though. Has anyone heard anything on this.

At this rate, i will never get any models done.
