Going to dog beach? Any time that we can ;-) But the water is so chilly at this time of year... Poor Chewy will freeze!!! Many thanks Chuck. I would just prefer that my "office" was a Chevy and not a Ford.

rommelkiste, What scale on the LHFP? I remember that tractor from your grass cutting yarn. Still think you need to add some markings to go with that gull gray paint....

Training for triathlons has been seriously cutting into my modeling time for the last few years. This is me at the Longboat Key, FL Sprint Triathlon back in October. Managed to finish 2nd in my age group (Men 60-64). I'm in the triathlon off-season now, so am trying to get back into some serious modeling over the winter.

After paging through the latest issue of FSM with the article about the Forum WWI GB, it was nice to attach real names to online monikers. While reading the article, I thought it would be great to attach a face to those names, and then I come across this thread. So here's a shot of my mug... don't look anything like my avatar...
Don
If you had worn the helmet, I think it would be a pretty good likeness.
Nothing ever fits……..and when it does, its the wrong scale.
To make mistakes is human. To blame it on someone else shows management potential.
This is me with my dad at Camp Slayer in Iraq during his 61st birthday party. As you can see I caught him off guard and this picture is priceless in the fact that dad NEVER smiles this big for ANY picture. In my wildest dreams I never would have thought that we would end up together in a friggin war zone as a kid.(He's been in one already in years past. The guy is an ex Green Beret from 'Nam--see airborne tatoo on his L/H forearm).

, .......................,
Never fear Don, I would look like that if I wore the uniform. I LOVE potato pancakes, Marmorkuchen, Kasekuchen, Streuselkuchen and other things I should stay away from!
It is great to have faces to go along with names, really great. So figure is only fair to add my mug shot. From a bit over 2 yrs ago whilst playing with some lighting kit at the local camera store. Odd, seems like forever ago for some reason.
(Ya, is my corny avatar pic)
Here I am in my Space Cadet uniform, which I made up for a couple of stage plays I was in - That's a metal Buck Rogers disintegrator gun from the early 30's in my hand.

Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...
Ahh Greg, you do have some hair! Hard to tell in the avatar...
Cadet Chuck, I laughed out loud at that pic. I hope you have a CCP for that weapon. God only knows what could be unleashed! That's great...
Nathan, ha! I cringe every time I see a pic of myself because looking in a mirror looks like I have more up there. :)
Chuck, that pic is priceless. Thanks so much for posting it!
Joe, that pic of you and your dad is priceless, as is your story of serving together over yonder. Bet that doesn't happen a lot.
Thanks, Geezer! I'm just a big kid at heart- I collect vintage toy ray guns like that, have loved this stuff since I was a kid. That gun was made by Daisy, the BB gun people. It didn't shoot any projectiles, just produce a loud click and a spark behind the red windows on the top. Many thousands were made and they were wildly popular , selling for about 50 cents apiece back then. Most of them ended up in scrap metal drives at the beginning of WWII. One like mine, in near mint condition, is probably worth about $1000 on the collectors' market today. No, I'm not selling!

Great photo, Vance! Glad to meet both of you!
This has been a lot of fun being able to put faces to the names here. What a great idea for a thread!
Well, here I am, in our central British Columbia back yard with my wife Jean and our two most trusted companions, Pedro and Zeus.

Jester, I have a "little" brother just like your's,,,,,,,,even though he is a bit younger, he is about 6" taller and 75 pounds heavier than I am.
I just blame the Air Force's fitness program for the difference, LOL (he's Air Farce, I'm Jarhead)

Hey ! T.S.

Rex I also have a "little brother" He is 5" taller and 85-90 lbs heavier.
With a lot less hair. I never even got to my father's height. John
