Who are you??
Posted by greentracker98 on Thursday, January 2, 2014 11:26 PM

I've been thinking. No, its not dangerous.

A site I was on before coming to this great forum, had a thread to show off who we are. Yes, we posted our pictures. So, I was thinking we should do that here. We talk amongst ourselves, but do we really know them. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so lets show off a thousand words and let everyone see what we look like.

If anyone doesn't want join in, they don't have to. It's not mamdatory.

This pic is a couple of years old, but the difference is my hair is grayer. yea alot grayer, but we won't discuss that lol

This is from last year.  Did some hiking up in northern Vermont and on the way back through Island Pond, VT, we decided to stop in front of the local VFW for a picture with their little lawn sculpture!

Bish,

I think you were lucky to escape those penguins. A few of them look like they are trying to sneak up behind you while you weren't looking. Big Smile

Here's me at the Strategic Air & Space Museum last February, and one of me at the bench:

Ye, they are crafty buggers, you have to watch them. Being quite tall i think i was safe, but one of my mates or is rather shorter than me ran the risk of being carried away. Those are King Penguins and are rather large.

It's always great to see the face behind the name.

For a better pic of me click here:

www.halfbreeds.net/MembersPhotos.html

Find and click on Iceman. That's me.

I belong to an online shooter game called The Halfbreeds - a Delta Force 2 online squad. Sadly, I have not played DF2/Delta Force Black Hawk Down for the last 5 years or so. I do keep in contact with my THB brothers and sisters though. Stik - you will find there are a couple guys in that squad who are in law enforcement as well - Bravo2Zero, Leeboy, and Mothra.

Yes, there certainly are some new faces on here since the last time we did this.

Bish, those guys were definitely working on mobbing you. Good thing you survived that time ;-)

Tojo, I don't know how familiar you are with the local history there of your photo shot. But I am curious. I know that "They Were Expendable" was filmed in that general location. Is that lighthouse in the background the same one in the end of the film?

Hey Ken, I think this an outstanding idea. With that, here is a couple of pics of myself in all my glory. Oh, and just for further info I live in Moab, Utah.

The movie was filmed in the Miami area,IMBD says the lighthouse is in Cape Florida State Park, and built in 1935

Sanibel Light on Sanibel is the one in my picture

This was taken last September at Disney World.  We spent a week there utilizing the military discounts Disney offers.  Stayed at the Arts of Animation Resort and had a blast.  O.K., everyone can stop laughing now.  Embarrassed

Nobody said no bums allowed so here is my pic.  Taken last spring while getting the Hoyt-Clagwell ready for duty.  I farm the old Haney Place in Podunkville USA.  If any of you have an extra Left-Handed Framis Pin for my Clagwell I could use it.

Nothing ever fits……..and when it does, its the wrong scale.

To make mistakes is human.  To blame it on someone else shows management potential.
