Hmmm... based on the last clue (and depending on your definition of commercial aircraft), Antonov An-2?

Not the PC-12 or the Caravan.  The PC-12 production has reached around 750 and the Caravan is around 1500.  Here's another hint--this plane has only one engine, but two of something else.....

how about the Boeing 737?

*edit, that's not a single engine aircraft*

 Second guess: the Cessna Caravan.

No, not the 172 either.  This is not a general aviation aircraft, it was designed from the outset as a commercial plane--a passenger and/or cargo carrier.

Nope, not the Cub.  If memory serves, the Cub was not designed as a commercial aircraft.

Another good guess, but not the right answer.  Here's another clue--this plane is a single-engine aircraft.

Nope, not the DC-3.  This one came along some time after the DC-3 was first produced.

Alright, lets keep with the same theme for now...

Name the most-produced commercial aircraft--but keep in mind that some versions were used for military service as well.

mmhhhh, the Cessna 172..... I hadn't thought about that.

The anwser I was looking for was the Po-2 but that seemed to be based on old information. I found that out when I checked your anwser, mine was wrong. (does this stil make any sense?)

Anyhoo, the Cessna 172 is the right anwser, so it is your turn F-8fanatic.

Ok, gone keep it simple.

What is the most produced aircraft?

That would be the Cessna 172, in production from 1956 and still being produced.  A total of over 43,000 have been built.  It was also license-built in France, not sure if it still is being built over there now though.

I think it is the Beech Bonanza, production started in 1947 and is still going on.

Possibly it is the C-130.
Roll out in 1954?
First flight was 23 Aug. 54.
First delivery began in 1956.
Production continues today with the C-130J.
Best wishes,
Grant

yes, that is the right anwser! The Cierva Ca. 30 was build
by Avro, Loire et Olivier and Focke Wulf. The Brits used it for
radar calibration.

BUMP BUMP.

Count me out on this, I will probably want to slap myself when the answer is out - but I for one can't figure it.
