Ryan - you can upload more than 4 for the first couple of weeks, but when they're moved to the main gallery, that number will be cut back.

Hey RonUSMC, can I upload more than 4 pics for my 1:32 scale F-105? The model itself is about 2 and a half feet long and it has so much detail on it. I posted 4 pics in the AC forum, but I only captured about 10% of the detail I want to show everybody. Would I be able to upload more than 4 images of my f-105? Thanks

Ron or Robert,
went to post some pix this morning and got the following message/error:
Fatal error: out of dynamic memory in yy_create_buffer() in Unknown on line 0

did not get to the site.
i am assuming the link in the first post of this thread is still the correct one.

thanks.

Allright, my signature pic is the drawing I scaned and thats the pic I was trying to put up. I saved it as a bitmap file, not Jpeg or JPG (after learning it won't accept bitmaps), so I finally figured it out and saved it as a JPG. Thanks Sherman anyway.

Pix - If they were final pics, they have been moved to the Aircraft Folder now.
If they were progress pics they are deleted after 2 weeks

Armor Master - you may have hit it a bad time ... try again and if you still have problems, e-mail the pic to me and I'll try from my end.

About how long would it take to upload a 82kb pic? I had a pic I wanted to put in and it was too big, so I resized it on irfanview to 82kb. I pressed the button to upload the pic and it's taking forever. It was just one pic. But the picture was never there when you shut down the past gallery so it's not really reuploading, I'm trying to put a pic in. The little uploading box that says it will disapear after a while isn't going away. What do I do? Thanks.

Photos of mine are being deleted from the "Upload Here" page. There were four that I uploaded today, and four I did last week. Is there any reason they were deleted? Its very frustrating to post pics, and go back, only to find the pics gone.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I'll try to catch up with Ron some time this evening and let him know. The server has been acting up all through the weekend.

For all of you who may be missing your sigtags, Ron has created a new directory on the site for them and I've been moving them into there. Approve [^] Sorry for any inconvenience.

I have found the same problem as Duke. It is not recognizing the name and password we used to use. Confused [%-)]

Thanks for getting that taken care of. I try not to load more than five to ten at a time.

I'd like to know, is there a new username and/or Password? I tried using the ones I used three days ago, but now it's telling me "Invalid username and/or password".

Please let me know. I wanted to post to the 'earliest models' thread, but I can't without the photos I wanted to show.

Thanks again for your work on this. I also would be willing to help to keep the site organized, but I only have 435 posts, so I don't qualify. Disapprove [V]

Ron, your site is greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work, and Robert, the same to you.

Just a little heads-up for all of you have been using Ron's site to upload your pictures to.

Do to Ron's relocation to the west coast, time constraints have not allowed him to be as active in "cleaning up" the upload folders and moving pictures to their new homes.
I have joined Ron in helping to clear up this backlog of photos so if you find that some of your finished pics are showing red-x's, then you probably need to change the url to their new addresses.

Also, a large number of in-progress photos will be removed from the site to make room for more finished models.

Just a couple of reminders.
1. - please label your pics with both your name / screen name and also what the model is.
2. - in-progress pics will be removed after a short period of time.
3. - finished pics will be moved as soon as possible to their proper folders. So please check to make sure your posts are still showing the pics and if not correct the url.

The bulk of the clean-up will occur through this weekend.

Any questions you may have can be directed to Ron or myself.

Thanks all for your patience and especially for your contributions to the galleries.

Thanks

Its working great.

There are 600+ images in the upload area that I need to sort though.

If all else fails, please try again in a few hours. Time seems to fix all of it.

Ron,

I successfully got some pictures over to your site, but I cannot get them to the forum. I still get the dreaded X-box.

Please help!

Thanks.

No idea. I know Ron's going to be away for awhile so until he gets back online if something gets messed up (like being unable to move photos) nothing can be done.

I notice the civil aviation section got axed from the reference photo area, any reason why, or did it just get lost?

Just a reminder, dont create any new folders, :)

You know...I had gone and created that folder before I read this and I think I broke it. Blush [:I]

I made copies of the pictures and reuploaded them into the Upload area. Then I deleted the folder I had made. It's still not working (the Move Photo). Sorry for screwing things up. Black Eye [B)]

Doh! I just created one. Blush [:I]

Reference > Armor > M3 Stuart

There were 6 pics of the real thing and thought it best to put them in their own folder.

Yes, the performance has improved. During the day sometimes I'm unable to move stuff, but if I wait until later at night I have no problem. Could be the server is busy or something. No big deal.

OH.. on the same topic.

Have you noticed the very dramatic quality increase since the rebuild? Everything is much better. The photography, the sizes, everything. Its very impressive.
