I was paint-detailing a model at one time with an ice-cold glass of coke beside me. Of course, there is also a glass of water where I dip my brushes in between color changes.
Unknowingly I dipped the brush in the coke glass.

Well acry-coke didn't taste that bad afterall.

LOL.

I feel more sorry for your carpet than your hand. After all, you can just "sand" the paint off your hand...yeesh

By the way, what TV show was it? It must've been very exciting.

I thought I was the only one who ever did that. Model Master Metalizer Aluminum all over the desk, my hand, the new shirt the wife bought me. Boy was I in trouble.

Reminds me of the time I loaded the paint brush with too much paint. I had the model part in my left hand and decided it would be a good idea to put the paint brush in my mouth while fishing a paper towel off the roll. I realized my mistake when the paint ran down the handle and into my startled mouth, Mmmmmm yum!Grumpy [|(]

Oops...

That brings back fond memories of various mishaps at my own workbench, usually involving very bright colors like yours. There was that beautiful green color for the NG Romulan Warbird... all over the place...
