Has anyone out there bought the Novascale 1/32 sheet for Aussie Beaufighters ?

It seems kinda expensive (as you can guess, I dont buy many OOB decals)

You get 3 variants with the sheet, and I was kinda hoping someone might have made one version, and had the other two in the stash.  Happy to pay for postage, or swap for something in my decal pile..........

I  cant see the point in buying the whole sheet when I only want to make one kit.  I have 1/32 roundels for the wings, and I thought I'd paint the tail markings by hand.

Never heard of that sheet before and it does sound interesting. I have a 1:32 Beau just sitting there waiting light of day. Hopefully there will be some resin cockpit goodies one day.

The Western Australian Scale Model Expo will be held at the South Perth Civic Centre (not Recreation Centre). All the details can be found at http://wasmex.homestead.com. A treat for visitors to WASMEx this year will be casting demonstrations by Adelaide Moulding & Casting Supplies.

I will be there as per usual. A great weekend chewing the fat with fellow modellers.

i have been modelling for a few years now, and I have just started the Hasegawa kit for the RAAF Mosquito.  I was wondering if anybody can help me with my question.  Did the RAAF Mosquitoes have rockets fixed to the wings.  Thanks for any information recieved.

Mike,  Pardon my laziness for not doing my own research, but what scratchbuilding would you have to do for a RAAF Beaufighter ?

Sad news for local modellers...

I visited the Avenue Hobbies website earlier this evening and there is an announcement on the "new arrivals" page that they will be closing down and that there is a 25% discount on all stock.

It looks like we are about to lose a true modeller's hobby store. 

Just wondering if any of Aussie modellers that were active on this thread are still around.

I've been missing from this site for a while, had to take a forced break from modelling, getting back in it now.
