I have a lot of kits with 3-6 copies but I only have 3 subjects with kits in double digits, not all the same kit or version though.

Eleven 1/72 Seakings, (7 Fujimi, 4 Revell), 18 kits if you include the related S-61L, HH-3 and HH-53.

Thirteen Sikorsky S-58 / H-34 if you include the Wessex versions (8 H-34 / 5 Wessex)

Eleven Sikorsky S-55 / H-19 / HO4S-3.

As far as built vs stashed, about 1/3 have been completed.

I really try not to get doubles of kits, atleast not at this stage.  I would have to say the closest I have come to doubles is I have 2 Bandai 'Dom Tropen' kits and 2 Academy Catalinas in 1/72nd

I currently have 3 of the Hasegawa B-24J kits with the Dragon and his tail markings. One is built and 2 in stash and all will be converted into H models. Then i have 2 of the B-24D lead ships, the one with the yellow aircraft covered in spots on the box, and 2 Tamiya Mosquito B.IV's. Plus 2 Revel Me 262A-1a kits and 2 Hasegawa Me 262B-1 kits.

The only thing i have alot of is 1/35th 251 kits. 23 in stash and one built, but these are all different variants and makes.

 I have 4 1/48 Monogram PBY-5 Catalinas and 1 PBY-5A. A 5 and 5A I purchased and the other 3 5's my father bought for me on sale at the exchange at Hill AFB some years ago. My father loved flying the Catalina and really wanted to see me build one. Regretfully I was unable to build one for him before his sudden passing. Thus, at least one of each will get built as a tribute.

Also 3 1/72 Minicraft PV-1 Venturas, one of each version.

Over the years I've built several Revell Arizonas.

Just as many of the  Monogram Tirptitz.

Too many to count Monogram Iowa class BB's.

In all likelyhood,I will build them again simply because they are all in my current stash.

About five of the Monogram Starfury space fighters from the 'Babylon 5' TV series. For those not familar with the fighter it had a broad shield shaped area above the cockpit and between the 'wings'. This area was often painted with elaborate 'noseart'. Some day I'll get around to doing up each one in a different 'noseart' scheme.

And I've three Cylon baseships/basestars from Battlestar Galactica. Two the original version in the 1990 release box and a third with the revised hanger bay parts from the most recent release. Not sure how or why I ended up with three of a kit that I really only intend to build one of though. Anyone looking for one PM me!

Plus about a dozen 1/35th Shermans of varying makes and models but I'm assuming they don't count because they're all from different companies (Tamiya, Academy, Dragon, Tasca)?

Without digging through the stash and getting an exact  count, the most would be:

1.   The orginal issue 1:48 Monogram SB2C-4 Helldiver.

2.  1:48 Monogram/Revell F-14

3.  1:72 Hasegawa F-14

Easily a dozen  each of the above.  I've also got eight 1/32 Revell F-4J's which are currently taking up a lot of space in the garage.

On the car side, I picked up about a dozen AMT K-Mart Lola-Chevy Indy cars at $2/ea. when the local K-Mart closed them out years ago.

Since the beginning, I'd say at least a dozen Revellogram P-51Ds built, one in the stash. Not a one of them is still in my house. Have a couple on display at my airport, a couple at the Ft. Leavenworth airport and another at the flight school at Willow Run airport (where B-24s were built).

 After that, it's 6 Revellogram AT-6s. 1 built in exchange for a ride in a real one, I even got some stick time!!!. The rest stashed, 3 different boxings.

For me it's a tie between two kits.

First is the early 70s U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701.  I had 12 of these kits when I was a kid.  I built the entire starfleet, including doing a few tiny little mods to each kit so they weren't 100% identical when completed.

The Second was the original issue of the Viper Starfighter from the original (and best version) of Battlestar Galactica.  They were going for $6.00 a kit back then and I had an entire squadron (10 and 2 backups.).  Again, each one was a bit different.  I even put some "war wounds" in some places on them to make them look like fighting ships.

Alas...  They are all gone now.  Lost with the rest of my old collection.

What kit do have you bought the most copies of in your modeling life?  If you *MOJO's are like me there are a few kits that you have bought countless times...some have been built, but most copies languish in your stash waiting for theat mega-project that will never come in this lifetime...

For me, I'd say it is easily the Hasegawa 1/48th scale line of 109's...probably the G-6 to be specific...I recon I've bought in the neighborhood of 40 of these suckers (all marks)...I can say that all but a few have been built...

...so what kit is it for you?

DISCLAIMER: the word used here is spelled with a "J", not an "F"...

I do not have numbers but the two that are battling for the lead are easily Sherman tanks (Monogram 1:32 variety, "Screamin' Mimi and "Hedge Hog") and Revell motorcycle kit that I believe was called "Roger DeCoster World Championship Suzuki RM370 (which, by the way, was actually a TM). I'm pretty sure it was a 1:12.

I couldn't get enough of either one of them as a kid.

The next on the list would be Monograms OS2U Kingfisher in 1:48, currently 4 on hand (only one of which is built) with an additional 6 done in the past that did not survive the passage of time.

For me,.,, Revellogram P-38... I have built 4,,, one as a kid.. one as Bong's Marge, one as a Dale Earnhardt Special.. all black, trimmed in silver and red.. I mounted it on a clear rod in hard banked left turn... and I recently did one as an M model for the P-38 build/and Weekend Madness II

I have a bunch more -38s in the stash with the intentions of building all the models XP thru M, and photo versions..

I've bought about 5 different variants of T-34 tanks, but I've never bought the same kit twice, and could not imagine for the life of me as to why I would do that.

Nothing even close to a few of you. With so little time etc, etc. I have built 3 King Tigers with the best still in the stash.

I've built up 14 Hasegawa (1/48th) F-16s; -A's, -B's, -C's, and -D's - the majority being -C's. Four in USAF markings, two in Dutch AF markings, and the rest in ANG markings, various states. Just like the looks of the -16 and got caught up in the ANG thing. None in the stash, but if someone comes out with a new decal sheet that catches my eye, I'll have to get another one.

all alone.. at the front.. hunkered down in the bunker... foraging the battlefield for bits and pieces to use as modeling parts and scratchbuilding details...sporadic internet connection with the lines being up and down... useing reconstituted horsehide for glue... crushing berries and other plants for painting ....

occaisionaly sneaking thru the lines to a secluded town for frolic with the local Frauliens...
