Good thread. Joe Rix and I were just sharing some of these photos back and forth with each other and now here's this. Cool. Well I guess here goes. This is mine,

Due to a flooded basement a few months back, , my area became a storage room. I've been slowly rebuilding my fort.

I know this an old thread, but just wanted to comment on this idea. The lazy susan is an awesome idea. HUGE space saver. I will be using this one for sure.

I already have one lazy susan spice rack  for 4 bucks at Goodwill. I used for painting. Put the piece on it, and you have full access to every bit of the part you're painting without taking a single step.

My man cave has changed a little bit since this picture but still retain the lazy Susan. I think I took over most of that room with my hobby now. Wife wasnt too keen on the idea at first but I'm getting rid of the hid a bed couch in that room and putting in a smaller couch with a bed. It should be fine. Thanks for the comment.

Some very nice spaces here.

Fermis, if i had your setup, I'd never walk out of the house.

Youre right there tigerman!  That place is amazing. To bring myself back down to planet earth a little, I am thankful I have the area that I do. It still allows me to do the hobby I love doing.

Yeah you guys are right. We should be happy with what we have.........for now.

If i had a model room like that, the other half could do what the hell she wanted with the rest of the house.

I would only see it as i passed through anyway.

If modeling was my only hobby.....she could have the rest of the house! But, as you can see, I have other hobbies that take up a lot of space......that, and I can wizz out a small fire without burning me bum....I WIN!!!Toast

Here be a few shots of my modeling realm. Used to be the extra bedroom until I moved in with all my modeling stuff and took up the whole room. Wife hasn't fully come to grips with that aspect of my hobby.

Lord Fermis, Do you have a full time maid to dust all of that or do you live in a bubble?

Now thats a man cave. Yes

I refer to it as the "War Room"........"Mancave" implies that the wife has dominion over the rest of the house......

Nothing makes a more MANly kitchen than stone and cedar cabinetry, (built it myself)....

A bit outdated at this point...I have since added some shelves and a just a few Whistling more models!

The stash is "stashed" in the lower cabinets of my main display. (also quite out dated)

Here is a shot that really has no basis in reality since it only looks like this for a nanosecond between builds.

I'm envious. My area is full of garage sale and other stuff. It makes me not want to even go in there anymore. Angry

Hey Tigerman,

Don't worry. I almost ended up in the garage with my stuff.

At this point my garage is a cleaner place to work. Wish I had more space out there.

....

Now thats a neat and clean place to work! complete with computer and tunes. Thats what I'm talkin about. Nice flight simulator joystick off to the right too. When I'm not entangled in modeling I fly as well. Neat setup man, Joe

Thanks Joe!  However, that photo was taken about 6+ months ago - we'd just moved into the house, so my modelling hadn't started up again.

The desk is now covered in 4 WIPS together with the usual modelling crud.

It's great having the computer there though, can watch some DVDs whilst modelling.
