Ain't it the truth?  I know I was 17 once, there are a few torn and faded photographs from that long-forgotten era to confirm that, but danged if I can remember much about it.   Taxes?  Yes, as a long-time Texas tax-payer, I am very familiar with them.Wink

And the worst part about being 17 for me was that I had only a few years before the Disco era hit.....
Gawd, the cars of that era were awful !Ick!
At least the youth of today have better cars.

I never ment to turn this disscussion into a t.v. timewarp but it's nice to know i wasnt the only one who suffered ! How about them stick and tissue airplains?  mine usually  "magically" caught fire about halfway through due to frustration.

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

I used to build the "stick and tissue" and also the "stick and microfilm" planes. There were competitions at the armory in N. Phila..   The scale stick & tissues usually ended up the same as littletimmys.
