Had that one as a kid too... one of those model clubs that sent you a boxed kit in the mail every so many weeks when I was a youngster... the Mummy, Franky, Godzilla, King Kong.... But the Japanese movie monsters were more fun than the Boris Karloff/Bela Lagosi movie monsters

Again, a bit off subject but I did find the box here, the other kits shown on the sides don't seem to correspond with either the Aurora or Pyro lines: Tongue Tied

It does say in the small print there 'Manufactured in Japan for K-Mart', I did a websearch but can't seem to find anything but recent Japanese dinosaur lines...

Could be the old Tamiya Mokei line. That T-Rex on the box side looks like the poor one they carry in their line. The old Aurora styracosaurus was the same kit as their triceratops with a different head.

As far as I know, Revell owns the old Aurora molds and just pops them for Polar Lights/Mobeius.

Thanks Rob, I thought it might be an old Japanese line but I've tried a couple of web-searchs and can't seen to find anything.

Weird...

Probably the old Revell/Otaki 1/144 C5 Galaxy.  I live in hope that the moulds still exist and Revell will re-release it some day.  Always gets a mention in the FSM list of kits that people want to see.  Last time I saw one on evilBay it went for 95 bucks I think......
