Very nice model, as always, on the cover! I even e-mailed author Martin Popoff and told him about the model. A year or so back, I found some back issues of FSM that someone at my modeling club was giving away, found a couple with your models and sent them to Martin Popoff. ("Look at the fantastic stuff Karl does when he's not with his band!")

Many years ago, I once played drums in a couple of heavy metal bands. They never became famous (hey, the rural Hawaiian island of Kauai is not exactly a heavy-metal hotbed) and it's a wonder we didn't blow out power to half the island when we plugged in, but it was fun!

   You got me in hot water ! But you know what it was good .My son saw the article and had all kinds of questions on your fine build . Last time I made any cover it was the top picture at the Post Office - LOL.LOL.LOL.

The company I work for is based in Stockholm, and we have a large factory in Linkoping (pronounced "Lin sho ping"). Linkoping is where SAAB has a factory that builds their planes, along with some of our medical equipment. Anyways, if you get a chance, you gotta go by there and check out the Swedish Air Museum. It is top-notch! And, if you've never been to Sweden before, you're gonna love it! Great country!

Awesome Karl!!! I literally JUST read that story, minutes ago!! I didn't look to see who the author was tho... Your work truly sets the bar, greatly inspires me and gives me something to shoot for. Not a surprise to me that you are a man of several talents! Ian currently working on my second piece of armor, a dragon 251 half-track, and read an old story of one of your builds, and am learning from your mistakes instead of my own for a change!!! That one came out great as well. I am going to try the winter camo, and even found some resin Bits to try as a bit of a surprise. Congratulations, you have risen to the top of the pile my friend! Gives us who are learning quite a lofty goal!!!! Best of luck on your tour- stay safe

Congrats on the magazine article.  I like to read about building different models from the planes I usually build, and having tried a couple of tanks I see that some skills transfer pretty well, but others I'd need to acquire.  For the time being, I'm happy to sit back and just enjoy your great work.  Your tips are great, thanks for sharing!

Wow guys; I'm sincerely humbled and thankful for the call-out and kind congratulations of everyone here. Honestly, it never gets "old" to get a story in the magazine, and it's nice to get the "extra" recognition like this and to feel appreciated by my friends, old and new, here on the forums. It's truly an honor to be part of this magazine and forum! . Many sincere thanks to all!!
