Wow guys; I'm sincerely humbled and thankful for the call-out and kind congratulations of everyone here. Honestly, it never gets "old" to get a story in the magazine, and it's nice to get the "extra" recognition like this and to feel appreciated by my friends, old and new, here on the forums. It's truly an honor to be part of this magazine and forum! Smile. Many sincere thanks to all!!

I haven't even seen it yet; I've been on tour, and on a ship to Norway yesterday, where I sit in my hotel room, hoping that the internet doesn't crap out, lol. In the land of the ice and snow where the midnight sun and the hot springs glow...

Thanks again, guys!!!

Yeah, just got my issue the other day. Great article there Karl, and not only published but the front cover! Pretty awesome to be on the cover of a major magazine. I'm still waiting for GQ to call me about being on their cover though... Wink

Congrads!!! And keep up the good work.

And anyone who hasn't yet please scroll down to the Figure forum and check out Highlander's figures. I wish I could paint mine one-tenth as good as his figures!

Great article, Karl. And Gamera beat me to the punch mentioning the cover shot. That's an honor indeed.

Don't wear yourself out fighting off all those Norwegian women over there, have a nice tour.

Thanks once again, guys! It's truly appreciated, all the nice compliments and well wishes. Smile I feel like a broken record saying it, but it's true. It's much appreciated!

Gary, yeah, I play for a band. I don't really advertise it much here; I don't want to be identified as such here; here I'm just another modeler on the forums, but I do mention it just to put some things in context once in a while. Anyway, I would appreciate you not advertising it much; I don't want to turn this place into a circus with fans who have no real interest in modeling, but just want to interact with a "band member". I'm sure you understand. :)

Well, on to Sweden, and then home, soon. Can't wait to get back to the bench!

Well done Karl! I've always loved checking out your posts and your models; I just don't ever post much here anymore. If your band is ever in the LA area, I'll try to stop by and say hello; maybe if you can pull away, I can take you to one of the seven Hobby Shops still around out here. Meanwhile, I'll continue to silently foillow your work on here.
