 If you can not get the hang of the VL, I have a feeling the Iwata wont be much different. You need pratcice, and I would start with food colors and paper until you get the hang of your brush. Youtube is loaded with videos to help you learn how to handle your airbrush.

The VL is really as simplistic an airbrush as you're going to find. I'm not saying it's a world-beater, I'm saying it is very easy to use, and you wont find a simpler brush unless you stick to a single action gun.

I completeley understand your point, but being that this is a common question, the forum is lodaed with post such as these, and I was basically trying to help the OP, which frustrates me. It's my fault as well for not checking the date and assuming it's a new thread, but please!. There has been a rash of revived 2003 post. Why 2003?

about 10 or so yrs ago i revived a few old posts and got my butt handed to me on a platter  for it by some people And a few that did are still here today

Is it annoying that someone revives a 12-13 year old thread, yeah. Is it a big deal? To me not really... But, I can understand if you are annoyed, I'll leave it at that.

I think it's a fact of doing a search on this super intuitive agile search engine and getting your query without reading the posting date, just assuming it's contemporary.

 

I think thats all it boils down to. We seem to go through periods of having a few of them. Somtimes it can be useful. But when the reviver is replying directly to the OP, it can be ammusing. But of course, if the reviver is new, they might not realise the host has long gone.

Some subjects, sure. but lets lay off the specific ones. Newer members tend to ask this question first, and we have a ton of "what airbrushes should I buy threads? a ton of them I tell ya'. Why revive one like this? It makes ZERO sense, and it has now annoyed me to the point of posting this thread.

I thought I was truly helping a member out, but I wasnt. I wasted my time, and  that tends to annoy me when I have been suckered into this on multiple occasions.

I'd say a retired person or a young student.
