Nice kit Ted, if you can wait till Aug, I'm continuing my ship group builds by adding American Ships.
Here are som more additions to my hanger. My wish list is thinning down some now. I still have some modern, a few WWII bombers and several ships on it though. I'm psyched about the Sufa.
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

The mailman delivered the England today along with the PE set. Should be a nice little challenge. I'm looking forward to building her and dropping some depth charges.

If there wasn't already an Airfix GB on going, i'd suggest hosting, running and building one all by yourself. Would make a might fine collection.

I'm begining to get that impression. I have no room to talk, most of my pruchases lately have been 1/17 Hasegawa
Thanks,
John
Nice find! I just sold the Trumpeter version on EBay. Really wanted to hold on to it but it really needed to be in the hands of someone who can do it justice! But, it sure was fun to open the box and sift through all that plastic!
GreySnake This followed me home from an antique store. Going to take up a lot of room.

I picked that up myself last month it's a beast of kit, I'll be looking forward to your build and hope to get some ideas.
Clint
As I liquidate a majority of my non-Airfix stash on eBay, I‘ll pick up a few red box bargains here and there.
Gamera John: Wow, that's a sharp lookin' bird! SP: Very cool, not a subject you see that often. I'd love to see you post the finished product when you get around to building her. Greysnake: That's a monster that followed you home! Very cool!!

Man you guys are getting some great scores here. You guys are making out like bandits, as my dad would have said...
In the meantime, I picked up this on clearance at Brookhurst, for a real great price....
Re the Ta-154 from some posts a few days ago:
It builds into a nice model but not without effort. The wings will droop unless you make a few cuts. Here's my build log. Forget the decals.

James: That's awesome! But where are going to put her when done- she'll be humoungous!!!
Steve: Wow, nice haul!!!
Mopar MadnessThat little Mustang is just too much!
Right? The Mustang and F-14 are the wife's favs so I knew I could't go wrong with that one. Also, Hell-er Bust is based out of Boise.
Great haul Steve! That little Mustang is just too much!
Some more additions to my hanger.
I won't be building this for a while yet as I am entering it in a competition on another forum and I am waiting for Eduard and the rest to put some stuff out.
I already have Master's Browning barrel set for this and Iconair extras for the Merlins.
HGW will be releasing a seatbelt set and Eduard have a seatbelt set, masking set and cockpit set next month. Things are starting to appear!
Looking forward to seeing some build pics of that Lancaster.
Arrived Thursday....
It's bigger than I remember at Telford and is going to take some building. Expect a detailed box review after the Nick is finished!
I spotted this on sale at an amazing price (40% off) a couple of days ago and simply couldn't resist.
The kits themselves are both standard Profipacks with the usual assortment of PE and canopy masks, but with the addition of a new decal sheet with lots of new color schemes.
While the G-6/14 kit is very nice, the 190 is what makes this kit for me. The A-8/R2 is by far my favorite radial 190 variant and like all their new 190 kits, this one fixes some of the really annoying fit issues with the original Eduard kit.
This is currently the only way to get the new tool A-8/R2 and considering I got an additional Bf 109 pretty much for free, it's not a bad deal imo.
Cliff, I just looked for that build thread on the T54 after you mentioned it. Looks like a somewhat annoying thing to fix, but it's definitely doable. Thanks for telling me about that one!
I'm actually thinking about picking up Takom's T34 kit as well. The T29 kit looks really nice in the box and I'd like another one without the rangefinder boxes on the turret sides.
A lot of nice AFV kits posted here lately.
Wow! SS, fantastic haul! I've wanted to get that AFV Shot Kal and the T-34.
Archangel, I almost pulled the trigger on that sale too. Good catch!

On the bench: 1/48 Eduard MiG-21MF
1/35 Takom Merkava Mk.I
That is a gorgeous kit. Meng is cranking out some incredible products.
I got mine last year from a eBay seller in China for $28 with free shipping. The package took under 2 weeks to arrive but the price was worth the wait.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
