Lewbud: I always loved the look of those tiger meet planes.

Joe: That skyrocket is one weird looking plane. Good luck with figure painting, I myself am not a fan of building them but it is great to see others do it.

Tojo: That cabinet looks like it was definitely worth the $125 you paid for it!

Joe nece score. The Raden is a Japanese plane I don't have in the stash yet. The Skyrocket is such a strange looking plane. It seems out of ballance.

Great deal - I paid a little more for a similare oak display case 2/3s the width and thought I'd done pretty good.

Congrads Joe! Figures are one of the most challenging areas of modeling. I've been painting them for thirty years and still can't get them the way I want them. But it's worth the work!

I really like the Nova you picked up John. That should result in a boss build.

I agree that the Raiden is one sharp looking aircraft. It's my favorite Japanese aircraft.

I forgot to post the gift my wife gave me for Christmas. I guess it is about time to cut my teeth my figure painting.

Those are some nice kits there lewbud. I've always liked the BMW and that's a cool rally rendition.

So, Like I stated prior, I've acquired quite a few kits over the past couple of months. Not sure I'll get them all up in one shot but, I'll start with my Christmas booty.

I finally pulled the trigger on this wishlist beauty with some of the $$ I received:

And then I was given this cool kit in a secret Santa swap:

Greysnake,

That's a pretty good haul you've got there.

As I was walking out to my car to go get lunch, I nearly tripped over a box containing these.

My love of Tiger Meet aircraft continues.

I've always had a thing for this car, but I really fell in love with it about 10 years ago (along with the Datsun 510).  This may be the only way I can own one as even the drivers are getting out of my price range.  A police version is set to debut in Jan. Don't know if I'm going to get though.

Greetings and a Happy New Year to all.

I have totally lost track of time and updates. I didn't realize how long it has been since I checked in on folks new stuff let alone, posting all of my new stuff. I am awestruck by all the amazing new kits and accessories everyone has acquired over the past couple of months. I'll try my best ata later date to single some out.

I have acquired some 20 new kits. At this time, Postimage is not cooperating so I'll get some pics up soon.

Keep up the fine efforts.

This showed up today. I've never done a Mistercraft kit, but it looks nice.  I've got a 1/144 F-14A and the VF-41 decals and plan on an in flight forced perspective dio of the 81 shoot down

Thanks,

John

Sweet additions guys.

I'm really liking the Tiger Meet markings Buddy. I may just start getting some to do.

John, love the Hurry. It has always been my favorite British fighter. Oddly enough I just have 2 in the stash. Both 1/72 from Arma Hobby.

Thanks Bish - I looked up his service as well.  Just curious as most model companies offer kits of aces etc.  Poor kid had a short life - seems out of the norm for kits.  I'll offer the decals to anyone who wants them as I want to do the mount of Witold Urbanowicz - no disrespect to this short lived pilot.

Thanks,

John

Not sure why Airfix picked his aircraft, maybe because he was killed defending the skies of Britian. But here is a bit of info about him.

http://www.bbm.org.uk/airmen/Andruszkow.htm

Assuming that He 111 going down in flames is his kill, that was the day before he died.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
