Don,

I'd definitely consider the MH-68 as fitting into this category, so I guess an impressed HH-65 would work too!

Hi all,

I'm game. I'll see how far I can get in 4 months. I'm going to try Hasegawa's 1/48 AH 64D Apache Longbow with Eduard's PE set. This has been sitting on my bench since last Christmas.

OK, since it seems that this GB is in serious need of some US Navy content, I'll join in with an HH-60H. With a rack of Hellfires on the LHEP, it would appear to qualify as having some attack capability. I have a 1/48 SH-60B and have ordered a Cobra Company HH-60H conversion set, so I should be ready to go.

Is someone going to compile a list?

Phil

I was wondering if it was ok if i played around with your badge, u know, shrink it down and maybe add something to it?Wink [;)]

copterguy- you and I will have to compare notes- we are doing the same kit with same PE set! I am hoping the directions are a bit clearer than Eduards usual instructions

Jason (JWest),

It looks like we are tackling the same project for this build. This is only my second helicopter kit - the first was Italeri's Pavehawk (yikes!) which I am now just finishing up along with some armor kits. My handle should more correctly be "Tankguy" since that seems to be my direction since getting back into modelling. I hope I can pick your brain a little on this one as the Hasegawa kit looks challenging (although of extremely high quality) and it is my first foray into PE. Should be fun! Big Smile [:D]

Okee dokee, Jon. Count me in!!!
I was going over the list and didn't see one Huey listed.
I'm going to attempt a UH-1E with a TAT 101 turret. I will be using the MRC 1/35 UH-1C as my base kit, although there won't be a whole lot changed other than the scratch built turret and the Cobra Company UH-1B backdate set.

2. 1/700 Pave Lows for same, with PE.Big Smile [:D]

3. 1/72 TBD. Possibly USCG Stingray, if I can find all the right stuff. That count?

Would an RAH-66 Comanche count, even though it will never be on the active service list?
If so then count me in with an Italeri 1/48 RAH-66. Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera but I'm sure I can borrow one to post my progress picsSmile [:)]
This would be my first group build.

This might sound like "stupid" question to the regulars but how do I add the GB image to my posts?

Thanks

Jason - that's a Censored [censored] good GB badge you've got! Thumbs Up [tup] If I can't come up with something as good, can I use it?

Trigger,

Of course! Jan 1 to May 1. I figured the time extension to allow for some of our buddies returning from overseas. And plus, this conversion's gonna take me FOREVER!

I'll put you on the list!

Jon -
Cool!

Jason -
I'll actually be building both an AH-6J and an MH-6J. As you know, the trick building a badge is finding a good picture to start with, You found a good one and the typography you've used works great. I'll have to up my game to keep up!
