I like that- fire from all directions- adds to the Mayhem title. But yea, as far as detail/update kids go- unless one wants to add a basic interior to one where there is none, Verlinden's been disappointing me. Disapprove [V]

thanks p.o.  yep those brass leaves...lol. still working on positioning the snipers but the way i see it...fire will be coming from ALL directions so to help break up the directional squarness even more i plan on having them in different directions.

btw, i have the brass/resin verlinden mk-19....lousy...lousy....lousy kit!!!!!! let me start...the back door was too small to fit the model...the side doors were too small to fit the model...i dont have instructions for the mk-19...need i go on. i planned on doing everything in p.e. and resin. the tires i molded myself...came out great. anyway, wanted to use the mk-19 from verlinden...no instructions and the weapon facing the opp. direction on the box makes it really hard to make!!! so...i said screw it and did the inside with p.e. and resin and to hell with the rest. if you have those instructions though i'd appreciate it p.o.! i posted in the armor forum looking for a set and no one responded so i simply said forget it...plastic it is!!!! i'm all done with update kits!! spent $40 on it and it doesnt even fit the damn model...even though its "made for it"!!!

thanks btw, about the title...worked on that one almost as long as the dio!! Laugh [(-D]

Hey! It's looking good- very nice palm, are those brass leaves? The look quite nice, glad they stuck on there, hope they wont pop off anymore. And I love the snipers on the roof!! Very cool- gotta love the .50 cal!

Not sure if you meant it, but the HMMWV is facing one way, the snipers another (perhaps facing backwards to cover a column of US guys to the rear of the Hummer?)

I know it’s still a WIP- but it’s a nice one at that! Always a fan of the Mk. 19- the Tamiya one’s alright, but I like the brass the Verlin kit offers (especially for the sight)- again, just let me know if you need the instructions- you can always mix and match pieces.

Now... I don’t remember- I’m pretty sure the kit came with a .50 cal and the Mk. 19 and I remember the instructions only having actual instructions for one or the other... like there was a second page I was supposed to get and never did... either quality control messed up or they figured you only needed one main weapon. (I’ll do a hi-res scan of the box top, that’s really what I use for instructions with Verlinden anyway...)
But I’m pretty sure it was the .50 cal that didn’t have a diagram, I put the Mk. 19 on top of my hummer- so I’ll take a shot of that for you too.

This is looking real nice so far! Don’t worry on it not being done yet, you still move faster than me!! lol

haha and I love the working title!

hi guys. been working on this one for about the last 5 months. could've gotten it done many times over but keep getting busy doing other things. this dio is still a work in progress...as you can see by the pics. have more to do with the humvee and build and paint the figs...as well as build more figs. basically its a battle between (unseen) iraqi insurgents and us army personel. much of the building i had help with thanks to modelchasm and pssstoff. these guys have been helping me all 5 months and i cant thank them enough. however there will be plenty of time to do that when im actually finished!!! Laugh [(-D]  more figures to do than anything else. btw, i purposely "broke" my sign down and laid it where it is for right now just because it kept getting in the way...it will be fixed upon completion. anyway, any and ALL coments are welcome as i try to finish this thing! thanks guys!

the building is made entirely of styrene then a thin layer of plaster was applied. then painted and weathered. the palm tree is from verlinden and the road is made from a roof shingle...again painted and weathered. again its still a w.i.p. so im not going to go into super detail right now. hope you guys like it though. please let me know! Smile [:)]

and now this is where im currently at!

enjoy guys!
