ronald mcdonald has left the bench....repeat...ronald mcdonald has left the bench.....

and thanks for all the love you have shown towards my Ho....and Manny,,,,if you marry my Ho, does that make me your father in law??? .....disturbing....

The mottle was free hand...no stencil....after stuggling with my double action AB I threw it to the curb and whipped out the trusty ol' single action....thinned the paint with laquer thinner (about 40-60) dropped the PSI and worked really close to the surface...sometime about 1/2" or less...I found that by adjusting my finger pressure on the trigger I was able to get a real fine line...much better than the double...

Now some decals...oh and I need to mask and pain the canopy too...

Hey guys... sorry the gadget has been delayed. It wasn't my fault... I was inspired be JeffW.... Allow me to explain:

Ya see... first I had to check with my wife to make sure it was OK for me to sign it...

Then I had to check with my wife to find out what color ink I should use...

Then I had to check with my wife to ensure I could use one of the 'good' pens (aka one with ink)...

Then I had to check with my wife so she could proofread it to make sure my signature was grammatically correct...

Then I had to check with my wife so she could determine if my signature was in the most appropriate spot or if I should scribble it out and start all over again...

Then I had to check with my wife to see if I could use an envelope to send the gadget on its merry way...

Then I had to check with my wife to see if I could have a stamp....

Then I had to check with my wife to find out what day I should put it in the mail....

So at this point I think I'm good... It'll go out tomorrow...

National Geographic TV had a one hour program titled "Hitler's Stealth Fighter" on last night.  I missed the first 30 minutes, but the model makers at Northrop Aircraft produced a 1:1 model of the Ho229.  Apparently Northrop has a top secret model building facility that builds full size models for radar testing.

Any one get to see that?

Yep, I've seen that one a couple of times, on History Channel up here I believe. Manny is actually visible in several of the shop scenes - always at the back of the room, with a blurred-out face...

Ahhhhhhhhh!  That explains it.  It is a top-secret facility.   I recall seeing those blurred out figures, but I didn't see any cats. Confused

I have watched it several times, in fact in a nod to the ribbons I sport, last night I was going to watch it again and was told with a resounding NO that I have seen it too many times already.

Where am I on the list to handle the gadget? I am giddy with anticipation.
