I keep coming back to look at this, resisting the urge to add one to the stash - I've been trying to thin it down, not add to it!!

So do you think this will be a rebox of Great Wall Hobbies` 189? Sure looks like their picture.

It really does, and it's pretty long odds on a pair of companies suddenly both deciding that they need to develop a FW-189. So who holds the original molds - and who has the lower price tag?

Beautifully done! Where did you get those service ladders? Were they part of the kit?

Fermis: that is as fine a model as I've ever seen.  Truly awesome and inspiring.

Yes, they were included in the kit, as well as the wheel chocks.

Sleep is a HUGE waste of time!!!

So that is your secret of building so quick! The quality certainly has not sufferd from a lack of sleep because that is a fantastic build!

UH-OH...  I seem to remember someone in the nightfighter GB modifying his to make a NF with!!

As interested as I am in this kit, I'm kind of scared of it too - seems so well engineered (& pricey by my usual standards) that a great deal is expected from the final product - therefore pressure to do it right. That Tamiya Storch was like that for me. Moulded almost perfectly, great engineering, well worth the $, love the final product & am happy with how it turned out. But would I do another one - not bloody likely!
