Long as it's 1/48th... Toast

I've started the flightdeck and bombardier's compartment... I'm re-working all the seats to look like the ones in the TB-25 featured in the current issue of FSM.  After checking some refs, I found the stock seats to be pretty good, but they need just a little more work...  I don't think I'm gonna waste much time or material on the radio compartment, since it'll be invisible, but the waist needs some stuff added, as well as the tail-gunner's position...

I already built my "Jaunty Jo" kit but have two AM kits, A Doolittle and C/D. Leaning towards the B so count me in.

 VanceCrozier:

~whew~ no firm dates yet!!! I'll keep track and add my kit to the mix as soon as I get some other items cleared up! (I've got a Falklands GB on the go right now too!)

If its anything like the B-17 group build then there wont ever be any dates lol

I think this is exactly the idea hans has in mind.

Jump "when ready" on this one... That's why it's in here anyway, insteada the' GB Hooch...  I don't care if you start today or next year... Heck, the B-17 GB's been going on for 2 1/2 years...

Dang Hans! If I wasn't trying to start my own GB in three weeks and thinking of joining a treadhead GB with Tigerman I'd jump right in with my Monogram B-25.

Yeah, I know... excuses, excuses. Since you're not setting a finish date I may yet jump in at some unspecifed date.

First thing's first... I'm shooting the wings, stabs, and fuselage with Krylon Silver... This will facillitate the rubber cement  masking for the "chipping" after I apply the OD/NG (or NSSB/IB/W  for a PBJ-1J..Dunno which it'll be at this stage) paint and begin the weathering process..

Tiny's original B-17 GB thread is going so well, and Vance's B-25 gift is getting a lot of attention, and since the kit's available, I thought, what the heck, let's try it!

I've got one on the bench that's almost finished, but I'll put that aside for now and grab a fresh Monogram Mitchell... (I know what the box says...Fergit it)

But you poor guys stuck with the AM Charlie and Dog-models can play too... I guess we can be friends... Even you guys with that 1/48 Revell B-25C from about '63... (If you got one but don't wanna build it, send me th' engines, would ya?)

My base kit's the 1999 Revell box release, "Jaunty Jo"... A glass-nosed version with either the early painted-over gun-nose or the bomber nose to choose from...

No start date, no finish date, just have fun, and take WIP-photos!...
