....all the bulkheads and floor pieces have half-moon pigs that fit into holes in the fuse.....

Look out boys, we're dealing with 1/2 moon pigs here! Big Smile fermis, uhhh, just, welll. WOW! That is an amazing amount of detail in a 1/72 kit, nicely done. And you started this what, a week ago?? I should have sub-contracted my Ho229 to you. (I still could I suppose Embarrassed)

Ok the obligitory questions...what paint did you use? and what color was it?

And don't get a better camera...then I will be even more envious of your skills. Big Smile

MM Enamels.....neutral grey (slightly faded w/white) highlighted with lighter shade, belly....obviously!

For the tan......"Sand" looked right...at the LHS.....way too light though, so I added a dab of medium brown and a dab of "wood". I preshaded w/ brown, sprayed my mix, then added a dab of white to the paint cup to vary things a bit.

Don't be scared, with a new camera, you'll actually be able to see all the flaws!!!Wink

Nice shades!  Glad you didn't go "pink" like you see with a lot of these Ploesti bombers...

Very snazzy.  I like it very much.  (I've seen B-25's with the fin flash as well)

Amazing job on this, both inside and out. And quickly done at that.

As i understand it, all US aircraft operating from N Africa carried the British style fin flashes. This included the aircraft from the 8th that took part in the Polesti raid. I don't know the reason behind the flashes though.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
